No Respect For The Wicked⚖
There is something to be said about grown men and women believing that age guarantees respect. That they can look at teenagers, children or young adults and treat them like nothing simply because they were born some years before them. As far as I'm concerned, Respect should be earned. A man shouldn't insult me and belittle me simply because he believes that it is my role to simply stare and watch him speak to me as if I am undeserving of that same respect that he demands. NO. I have had enough of holding my tongue when my "elders" speak to me with disregard to me feelings and with a complete indifference to the fact that I am a person who thinks and breathes and exists. It gets me sick to remember how I had to listen to a lecturer insult me because I told him he scheduled our exam score viewing to the detriment of my class, and to listen to another calmly tell me that "honesty pays" when they had concluded, with no proper evidence that I was simply lying. ...
